Home/School Communication

At Kings Meadow, we recognise the importance of relationships between home and school and, therefore, we strive to ensure clear communication in a variety of different ways.

  • Frequent updates - Class teams use Class Dojo, email and phone calls to regularly update parents about their children's progress. We also use Arbor to communicate important school messages.

  • Parents’ and Carer Evenings - Twice a year, parents will be offered an opportunity to come to school to meet with the class teacher and discuss the progress and attainment of their child.

  • Senior Leadership and Pastoral Hubs - Three times a year, parents will be invited to join a member of the Senior Leadership Team and the Pastoral Team for an informal conversation about their child.

  • Reports - Twice a year, report cards will be issued to parents with comments on progress and attainment. There will be an opportunity for parents to give feedback to the school about this.

We recognise that in some situations, parents would like to discuss their child at other times. They are welcome to contact the school through the front office, Family Support Worker, or class teacher to arrange an appointment.

Any questions should be raised initially with the class team.
